Class Description



POWER YOGA BASICS
This yoga class will lay the foundation for a regular Power Yoga class.
Power Yoga Basics is a challenging class that is ideal for those just starting out and who are looking for a more active and athletic approach to yoga. A variety of dynamic postures will be introduced to help stretch, strengthen and tone your body. You will learn to connect to your breath. Your stamina and stability will be developed through the introduction of sun salutations, balances, abdominal work, backbends, forward bends, hip openers, arm strengtheners and much, much more.


POWER YOGA

This is a strong and athletic yoga classes that combines Hatha yoga poses into an athletic and vigorous routine. This style of yoga is intense, challenging, and yet fun and energizing.
Students are encouraged to attend a few Power Yoga Basics classes, or be familiar with Ashtanga yoga before attending this class.

HATHA YOGA
This class is gentler than the Power Yoga Class and focuses on breath, alignment and the balance between the mind and body. This class will bring you through a wide variety of postures, giving you the opportunity to gain flexibility and strength, and learn to be more relaxed under otherwise stressful situations.
